Faculty and Staff
- Daniel Dayton, PhD - received his PhD in Organization and Management from Capella University, his MBA from the Devry University Keller Graduate School of Management, and his B.S. in Management from the University College of the University of Maryland. He has been with Franklin University since spring, 2012.
- Christine Seebon - skilled in facilitating discussions, coaching, providing motivation and positive reinforcement, offering insights, providing feedback and assessment, tutoring, conducting group interviews, facilitating focus groups, recommending reading, outling action plans and delinating accountabilities. Accomplished in business planning, process creation, problem solving, project management, product development and organizational effectiveness planning. Consistently spearheaded complex projects, start-up situations, redesign and change initiatives. Described as forward-thinking and results-oriented; poses a strong record of accomplishments. Experienced in developing highly successful and innovative marketing plans, creating and managing budgets, selecting and managing vendors, developing brand identity, positioning, creating collateral materials and managing client events and sponsorships. Responsible for execution of thought pieces, public relations, sales campaigns, web sites and client satisfaction surveys. Achieved financial goals through the implementation and execution of integrated marketing programs.
- Edward Lukco - received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) - Finance from the University of Florida, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Ohio University. He also holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) professional designation and is a Fellow of the Institute for Independent Business. Edward Lukco has worked for over 30 years in the insurance and reinsurance industries. He has provided and established infrastructure for small and large reinsurance operations during his career including: establishing the financial controls and preparing the financial statements (including reporting and control procedures for all monies and revenues as well as preparation of financial statements for investors and presentations to board meetings), servicing of the book of business already in existence as well as the production of new business, building of relationships with both clients and markets, management of personnel, budgeting, negotiation of terms and conditions, making presentations, day-to-day work flow, process improvement, establishing cross-training programs, strengthening teamwork concepts, creating office procedures and guidelines, educating personnel, providing job descriptions and the setting of standards that the success of both personnel and the operation would be measured against.
- Garry McDaniel, PhD - Dr. Garry McDaniel is Professor and Program Chair for the Graduate and Undergraduate Degrees in Human Resource Management at Franklin University. Dr. McDaniel oversees the development and staffing of all graduate and undergraduate Human Resource Management courses as well as teaching in the Franklin MBA program. He has served on the undergraduate and MBA faculty at Franklin University and led the Global Leadership & Succession Planning efforts for Advanced Micro Devices, a global semiconductor manufacturer. In addition, he has authored two books, Conflict to Cooperation: A process for mediating group differences, and Managing the business: How successful managers align management systems with business strategy, as well as numerous articles.
- Raj Parikh - his educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management from the DeVry University and a Master of Business Administration from the Keller’s Graduate School of Management (specializing in project management). He is also in the middle of pursuing his doctorate from the Walden University (specializing in information technology). Outside the formal education, he holds numerous industry certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, Novell, CompTIA and PMI (Project Management Institute). He has more than 10 years of traditional and online teaching experience at the university level. Over the past 20 years, he has been fortunate to work around technology, business projects/programs for some of the biggest corporations, including Verizon, AT&T, Unisys, Cable & Wireless, Fidelity National, and Altegrity. At these companies he has held mostly technical management positions dealing with various components including systems, networks, telephony, security, telecom, consulting practice, professional services, project management, pre-sales engineering, product design & launch and mergers & acquisitions.
